Mega City Car We are dealers for Mega electric vehicles, and sell the “Mega e-city” town car for urban use. The e-city has a 40mph top speed, and a range of over 40miles. It comes with remote central locking, electric windows, parking sensors and CD radio. Using the overnight electricity tariff, it costs just 50p to recharge overnight, giving a running cost of less than 1.5p per mile.
The Mega-city is an ideal second car for short journeys around towns and cities and for commuting, and is available in two and four-seat versions.
It is built around a strong but light weight aluminium space frame chassis with thermoplastic body panels, and is fully crash tested to European standards. It is also almost 100% recyclable, so along with zero road emissions, has enviable environmental credentials.
Although more expensive than an equivalent petrol car, the low running costs and smooth, quiet, nippy performance make it an ideal urban runaround.
